Miguel Ruiz grew up with a family business of farming. Miguel’s father always had farms, and at the age of 18 gave Miguel responsibility to manage some of his farms their workers. In 2014, he worked with his father in law to buy and plant a new farm. Miguel suggested that it had the potential for specialty coffee. At first, the area for production was small, and Miguel would help out on his days off. However, as the farm grew, Miguel had to quit his day job to focus on the farm full time.
Miguel has big plans to cultivate the wild areas of his farm to grow more coffee. He also wants to expand the parabolic drying area to handle bigger production.
